We empower local communities by enhancing the capacities of various vocational skills to become self-reliant. We have started a vocational training centre in the community hall at CC Nagar in Secunderabad. The main objective of the vocational training centre is to provide sessions on skill-building and personality development components that would help them to sustain on their own by creating livelihood opportunities. This course intended to extend the support to the local community groups mainly women self-help group members, single women and young adults and encourage them to utilize the opportunities available within the community. So far, 100 women have benefited from this programme and we are planning to reach out to 1000 women in the next 2 years.
