Success Stories

M. Srikanth

M. Srikanth is from a poor family, who migrated from Nalgonda district to Hyderabad and was living on the street. We identified and rescued him from the difficult living conditions and provided comprehensive residential care. Now, he is doing well in education and pursuing C.E.C in intermediate. He has also improved his soft-skills very well.

Arsheen Begum

Arsheen had lost both her parents when she was very young and was taken care of by one of the guardians, who referred her to our Rainbow home due to their poor economic conditions. After joining our home, she was mainstreamed into regular education through bridge courses as she had discontinued her education while at home. Now, she has successfully completed her 10th class. She joined a vocational course offered by Yashoda foundation and was given placement in Yashoda Hospitals as Operation Theatre Assistant. She further completed a certificate diploma course in Multi-Purpose Health Worker (MPHW) and got the job at Intigro private hospitals. Currently, she is also pursuing General Nursing in Midwifery (GNM) from Princess Esin College of Nursing, Purani Haveli, Hyderabad.

Prasanna

Prasanna comes from a dysfunctional family. She dropped-out from school and was forced to go for domestic work along with her mother. After joining our Rainbow home, she was mainstreamed into regular schooling, securing 73% marks in 10th class and 86 % in Intermediate (Multi-Purpose Health Worker course). In continuation, she completed the General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) course from Osmania General Hospital with 1st class marks and is currently pursuing B. SC (Nursing) course from Yashodaa College of Nursing at Medchal-Malkajgiri district.

Vandana

Vandana and her sister lost their parentsat very young age. They stayed with their grandmother, who looked after them. They used to help her in domestic household chores. Unfortunately, their living conditions became very vulnerable and the grandmother could not provide proper care. After joining our Rainbow home, Vandana had successfully completed primary, high school and Intermediate education. In continuation, she had joined B. Tech through EMCET and completed 4 years of course with outstanding marks. She scored 80% in Intermediate board examination. She has improved her communication and language skills very well. Now, she is pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Vanitha Maha Vidyalaya.

Budagagam Yadhigiri

Yadagiri comes from a dysfunctional family. The family was rag-picking and begging for their survival. They used to travel between Tandur to Pune towns. In the process, ASRITHA had identified the child on the street and brought him to the home. He joined in the bridge course and later mainstreamed into regular education. Currently, he is pursuing his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) from Government College at Seethaphalmandi.

Hari Krishna

Hari Krishna was brought-up by his grand-mother as his mother died when he was young. His grand-mother had migrated to Hyderabad for their survival and started working as daily wage labour to look after the child. After coming to our home, he is currently pursuing II year of B.Sc in Government Degree College, Seethaphalmandi. He has gained computer knowledge and English speaking skills .

Yadamma Nadumpally

Yadamma lost her parents when she was very young and was living without adult care. She joined Rainbow home in 10 class and successfully completed her Post-Graduation (M.Com) and now is working as assistant accountant in a company at Nalgonda. She has got married and is living happily with her new family. Now, she is preparing for Group- 1 competitive examination. She has improved her soft skills, English speaking skills and Tally software.
